Kristin Carlson started studying music at the age of thirteen with classical instructor DeWayne Christiansen. This was also around the time when she started writing her own original material. After studying for three and a half years she moved on to Shoreline Community College where she studied music theory and digital audio. While at Shoreline, Kristin played in the musical Cabaret, as a Kit-Kat girl. She studied hip-hop dance, in the past for a year and a half, and is currently back in hip-hop at Westlake Dance Center. Also, Kristin devotes much of her time and weekends to her cover band Femme Fatale. She has been playing out with Femme Fatale professionally in local casinos and bars for over a year. In much of her spare time, you can either find Kristin collaborating and working alone on original material or preparing for future shows. She is thrilled to be working with the Vargas Girls combining her love of theater with her love of a passionate performance. Kristin is proud to be the head chorographer for the new VargasGirls "Modern Day Cabaret" . You can also see Kristin @
