 Mikki@thevargasgirls.com Michael-Ellyn is a whopping 5’1” voice and linguistic instructor in the Seattle area. She is also a contract commercial voice-over specialist for TV, radio and film.Besides being featured as the lead jazz starlett performer in "The VargasGirls” Cabaret, Michael-Ellyn vocally heads up the rock cover and originals band “Mellyn”. She is also in the blues, soul and Motown band “Heat Treatment”, the Jazz standard band “No Jive 5” and the folk and jazzed infused bluegrass band “Middle Ground”. (Amazingly, she still has her head, despite recognizable blonde moments.) She grew up in the internationally award winning Columbia Choirs, and was accepted into All-Northwest Honor Choirs and the All-State Honor Vocal Jazz Choir during high school. While living in Germany she was part of the Hamburg Opera Choir. International touring experience has shaped her as a singer and made her realize that music is the same wonderfully elating language everywhere driving directions are not.
